Linux Candy: BobRossQuotes – collection of quotes from Bob Ross

Last Updated on May 25, 2022

Summary

What can you do with BobRossQuotes? How about adding the command to your shell startup script? Every time you fire up a terminal, you’ll be treated to a quote from the program’s database file.

The software has only received a handful of GitHub stars. Niche software.

The developer of BobRossQuotes also put together chucknorris, which serves up Chuck Norris jokes in your terminal.

You can easily adapt the program to quote from any famous personality. All you need is to create an ASCII depiction, and assemble a quotes collection from that person.
