pacwall turns your desktop wallpaper into a graphical representation of packages installed using pacman. Instead of displaying a conventional background image, it generates a dependency graph showing how installed packages relate to one another.
Each circle represents a package, with its area proportional to the installed package size. Connections between circles indicate dependencies, while different colours distinguish explicitly installed packages, dependencies and packages outside the official repositories.
The graph can also highlight packages with available updates, orphaned packages and those with unresolved .pacnew files. These visual indicators make the wallpaper a useful way of keeping an eye on package status.
pacwall includes systemd units for regenerating wallpapers after package installations, upgrades or removals, as well as periodically checking for updates. Configurable hooks apply the generated image, with examples for different desktop environments and window managers.

The blue circles are manually (explicitly) installed packages, the red ones are automatically (implicitly) installed packages. The green circles are packages not found in the official non-testing repositories
