mypython – Interactive Python Shell

mypython is an interactive Python shell built around the prompt-toolkit library. It provides an alternative to Python’s standard interpreter, with a particular emphasis on efficient editing, readable output and convenient access to development tools.

mypython is particularly useful for experimenting with Python expressions, investigating objects, testing small sections of code and diagnosing errors without switching to a full development environment.

This is free and open source software.
