Story Architect is a desktop writing environment for creating novels, screenplays, television scripts, comics, stage plays, audio plays and other structured documents.
The application provides a unified workspace where writers can manage multiple documents belonging to the same project. Different document types have specialised editors and formatting conventions, making it possible to work on several forms of creative writing without switching applications.
Story Architect was developed by the team behind KIT Scenarist. It extends the earlier application’s approach to project management and structured writing.
The software follows an open-core model, with additional proprietary modules offered separately. The features listed below concern the publicly available core functionality.
