Xreader is a document viewer. It provides a familiar graphical interface for opening and reading PDF files and other document formats, including PostScript, DjVu, DVI and XPS.
The application is designed for straightforward document viewing rather than advanced PDF editing. Readers can search documents, navigate using page thumbnails and document outlines, and adjust the layout to suit different types of material.
Xreader originated from Atril, which was itself forked from Evince. It retains the conventional desktop viewer design while integrating with Linux Mint’s desktop applications. Its combination of bookmarks, searching and presentation features makes it useful for everyday document reading.
This is free and open source software.
