TurboGears – Python Web Application Framework

TurboGears is a Python web framework based on the ObjectDispatch paradigm. It’s designed to help developers write small and concise applications in Minimal mode, or complex applications in Full Stack mode.

TurboGears takes the best components available (SQLObject, Cherrypy, Kid, and Mochikit) and combines them into one easy-to-install, documented whole. TurboGears includes parts that join the pieces together and make them work together seamlessly, but doesn’t obscure each included project.

This allows developers to take advantage of all existing documentation, articles, mailing lists and other resources that have built up in the communities for each project.

TurboGears 2 provides an integrated and well tested set of tools for everything you need to build dynamic, database driven applications. It provides a full range of tools for front end JavaScript development, back database development and everything in between.
