Summary
QMPlay2 brings together a video player, audio player, internet radio streaming, YouTube player all wrapped into a single application. It’s competent in all areas although the absence of gapless playback renders it an inadequate music player for my requirements.
While there’s lots to admire about QMPlay2, the software doesn’t eclipse dedicated apps in any department (although as a video player it runs very close). But if you prefer using a single app, it’s a good compromise.
The software is mature, stable, and under active development.
The breadth of options available is excellent. You can even use the software as an image viewer!
