OxiCalc is a small graphical calculator written in Rust using GTK4 and libadwaita. It was created partly as a learning exercise to explore the combination of Rust and GTK, and is a rewrite of an earlier C++ calculator by the same developer.
Despite its modest description, OxiCalc offers more than basic arithmetic. The application also provides calculation history and support for named variables. Variables are stored in a TOML configuration file, allowing them to be retained between sessions.
This is free and open source software.
Key Features
- Perform arithmetic calculations with support for operator precedence and parentheses.
- Calculate trigonometric functions, logarithms, powers, factorials and modulo operations.
- Provides a graphical calculation history.
- Supports named variables stored in a TOML configuration file.
