Chevereto is a self-hosted image and video hosting platform for creating media-sharing websites. It enables individuals, communities and organisations to publish photographic collections, manage user uploads and operate their own image hosting services.
The software can power anything from a private photography archive to a public image-sharing community. Its interface combines media browsing, albums and user profiles with administrative controls for managing uploaded content and configuring the website.
Chevereto offers an alternative to relying on third-party image hosting providers. Administrators retain control over stored media, user access and the policies governing their hosting service.
This is free and open source software.
