Zoph (Zoph Organizes Photos) is a web-based photo management system designed for organising, cataloguing and presenting digital photographs. Written in PHP with a MariaDB backend, it places particular emphasis on managing photo collections rather than simply displaying galleries.
The software provides facilities for organising photographs into albums and recording information about individual images. This makes it suitable for users who want to maintain detailed collections and locate photographs using more than just filenames and directory structures.
Zoph also offers granular access controls, allowing administrators to decide which photographs and albums are visible to other users. Collections can be kept private or selectively shared through its web interface.
The application supports image metadata and geographical information. Its mapping functionality uses MapLibre, allowing photographs with location information to be explored geographically.
This is free and open source software.
