Vinagre is a VNC client for the GNOME Desktop.
It allows the user to view multiple machines simultaneously, can discover VNC servers on the network via Avahi, and can keep track of recently used and favorite connections.
It has replaced xvnc4viewer as the default VNC client in the latest Ubuntu release.
Vinagre’s interface has been translated into more than 40 different languages.
