Remmina (formerly known as Grdc) is a remote desktop connection client that can view and control a desktop session running on another system.
It can connect to a VNC platform (using libvncserver0) as well as to windows terminal servers (with rdesktop).
Remmina is an application based on GNOME and GTK+. There is also a GNOME applet support for the client.
Features include:
- Remote desktops with higher resolutions are scrollable/scalable in both window and fullscreen mode.
- Floating toolbar.
- Keyboard grabbing.
- Maintain a list of remote desktop files for most frequently used servers.
- Make quick connections.
- Viewport fullscreen mode: remote desktop automatically scrolls when the mouse moves over the screen edge.
- Floating toolbar in fullscreen mode, allows you to switch between modes, toggle keyboard grabbing, minimize, etc.
- Supported network protocols: RDP, VNC, NX, XDMCP, SSH, and Avahi.
- “VNC Incoming Connection” protocol.
- Password encryption.
- Pure GTK+ 2.0 application.
