Glipboard is a clipboard history manager that combines a background service with a terminal user interface. It records clipboard activity and makes previously copied material available for retrieval, reducing the need to repeatedly copy the same content.
The application is designed for users who prefer a minimal desktop environment. Its background service handles clipboard monitoring, while the terminal interface provides a convenient way to browse and reuse saved entries. There is no need to keep a graphical application window open.
Glipboard stores clipboard history locally in an SQLite database. On Linux, it supports both Wayland and X11 sessions, using different monitoring methods to accommodate the underlying display system.
This is free and open source software.
