Skylendar is an astrology program built around the Swiss Ephemeris. It combines graphical charting with PostgreSQL-backed management of subjects, restrictions and other astrological data.
The application provides numerous chart types including multi-ring wheels, aspect scans, local horizon charts, ephemerides, astrocartography and primary directions. Calculations can run concurrently and several chart windows can be open at the same time.
Skylendar can import data from other astrology applications, export charts as SVG and operate in a web server mode.
This is free and open source software.

- Calculate planetary positions with the Swiss Ephemeris and work with planets, stars, virtual planets and other configurable objects.
- Display wheel charts containing up to four concentric rings for comparing natal, transit, progressed, directed and other data.
- Generate aspect scans, local horizon charts, ephemerides, astrocartography maps, solar-system views, primary directions and Gauquelin sectors.
- Store and retrieve personal data and restriction sets in PostgreSQL, with SQL searches and batch calculations.
- Run multiple chart windows with multithreaded calculations and drag-and-drop data management.
- Import AAF, Astrolog, KAstrolog and other supported astrology data formats.
- Export charts as SVG graphics.
- Provide a web server mode that makes Skylendar calculations available to other software.
