Cenon Astro is an astrology module for the Cenon graphics application. It makes extensive use of Cenon’s vector-editing capabilities, allowing calculated charts and maps to be edited after they have been generated.
The software creates event and birth charts, composite charts and astrological geographical maps. It also provides aspect searches, event management, time-zone handling and optional high-precision ephemeris data.
Cenon Astro runs with GNUstep on Linux. Upstream’s ready-made Linux packages are old, but its source remains available.
This is free and open source software.

- Compare two events with composite charts and display aspect exactness through shading and line thickness.
- Create astrological geographical maps from vector or scanned map data with AC and MC axes for planets.
- Edit calculated charts and maps using Cenon’s vector graphics facilities.
- Run accumulating aspect searches and open corresponding charts from the results.
- Manage event data with time-zone handling, a city database and AAF import.
- Use optional high-precision NASA ephemeris data based on the Swiss Ephemeris.
- Print charts or export output through Cenon’s graphics and HPGL facilities.
