ircc is a minimalist IRC client. Its implementation is contained in a single source file, making it an interesting example of how a usable IRC client can be created without a large codebase.
The application uses the curses library to provide a terminal interface and concentrates on the essential functionality required for IRC conversations. It supports connecting to IRC networks, exchanging messages and navigating conversation history.
Despite its small size, ircc includes several conveniences that are often absent from very basic IRC clients. These include automatic reconnection, persistent conversation logging and keyboard-driven text editing.
