Redumper GUI – graphical front end for optical disc dumping

Redumper GUI is a graphical front end for redumper, a tool for dumping and preserving optical discs. It provides a user-friendly interface for creating disc images without having to work with command-line options.

The application automatically detects optical drives and provides controls for selecting an output directory, naming disc images and configuring the dumping process. It displays progress through a graphical sector map, showing good, bad and unread sectors, alongside detailed logging information.

Redumper GUI also supports refining incomplete dumps, adjusting drive speeds and retrying problematic sectors. Additional functionality includes firmware flashing for supported optical drives and optional post-processing with MPF.Check. Its interface features a spinning disc animation that doubles as an interactive fidget spinner.

This is free and open source software.
