Serie is a Git history viewer focused on making commit graphs easier to read without turning into a full Git client. It presents repository history through an interactive text-based interface and renders the graph itself using image protocols supported by compatible terminal emulators. The design keeps the commit graph central while still giving access to useful context around individual commits, references and changes.
The program is aimed at users who are comfortable working with Git but find the output of git log –graph difficult to follow in repositories with more complicated histories. Configuration is stored in a TOML file, and most key bindings can be changed to suit an existing workflow.
This is free and open source software.
