git-fame is a tool which lets you pretty-print git repository collaborators sorted by contributions.

This is free and open source software.

  • Configurable. For example, you can exclude files, include, files, date from which to check
  • Include time cost in person-months or person-hours.
  • Recursively find repositories & submodules within.
  • Show stats per file extension.
  • Ignore whitespace when comparing the parent’s version and the child’s to find where the lines came fro.
