LXTask is a lightweight and desktop-independent task manager derived from xfce4-taskmanager with all dependencies on xfce removed, new features, and some improvements to the user interface.

LXTask is derived from Xfce4 Task Manager.

Although LXDE now seems to be a dead project, I still use it on some ancient laptops. I love the simplicity of the DE. It goes perfectly with Debian Stable.
