Keystatic is a Git-based content management system designed for modern web projects. It provides an approachable editing interface while keeping content in Markdown, Markdoc, YAML or JSON files alongside the website’s source code.
Content structures are defined with a type-safe TypeScript API. Keystatic can read and write files locally, connect directly to a GitHub repository or use Keystatic Cloud for authentication and image hosting. It integrates with frameworks including Astro, Next.js and Remix, and does not require a traditional database.
This is free and open source software.
