BingWallE – collect Bing and Windows Spotlight wallpapers

BingWallE is a desktop application for browsing, downloading and organising wallpaper images from Bing and Windows Spotlight.

The application brings images from both services into a single graphical interface. Users can browse the available photographs, inspect their descriptions and copyright information, and choose which images to download.

BingWallE is designed for building a personal collection of high-resolution photographs. Its Discover view presents images available online, while My collection provides access to previously downloaded pictures, including older images that are no longer available from the online sources.

The program concentrates on image discovery and collection management rather than changing the desktop background. Images are downloaded when requested, giving users control over what is saved.

This is free and open source software.

• Download progress reporting, cancellation and retry of unsuccessful transfers.

• Native Wayland support on Linux with automatic X11 fallback.
