OpenVidu is a self-hosted platform for developing and operating real-time audio and video applications.
It provides the infrastructure needed for applications ranging from one-to-one calls and videoconference rooms to large interactive streaming deployments. Current releases can use mediasoup or LiveKit-based media infrastructure, providing WebRTC features without requiring application developers to assemble the complete real-time communications stack themselves.
OpenVidu also concentrates on the operational side of WebRTC, providing recording, monitoring, deployment tooling and facilities for running resilient multi-node installations.
