File Managers

Filestash – universal browser-based file management platform

Filestash is a browser-based file management platform that brings different storage services together behind a common interface. Instead of switching between separate applications for cloud accounts, network shares and remote servers, users can access their data through a familiar file management experience.

The application acts as a bridge between existing storage systems rather than requiring files to be moved into a new storage environment. It can connect to local and remote services using a variety of protocols, making it useful for individuals and organisations working with several storage providers.

Filestash has grown beyond its original role as a Dropbox-like browser application. Its plugin-based architecture supports different methods of authentication, file handling, automation and external integration.

The platform also offers file previews, multimedia playback and sharing facilities, while companion clients and protocol gateways extend access beyond the browser.

This is free and open source software.
