kpcli is a command-line password manager for working with KeePass database files. It provides an interactive shell in which users can navigate their password collection, manage entries and modify database contents using commands similar to those found in a conventional Unix shell.
The application is useful when a graphical password manager is unavailable or inconvenient, particularly when connecting to remote Linux machines over SSH. It also provides a way to work with existing KeePass databases without converting their contents into another password-store format.
kpcli supports both the older KeePass database format and modern KDBX files through Perl libraries. Its interface will feel familiar to users comfortable with directory navigation, command histories and text-based tools.
