ucollage – extensible command line image viewer

ucollage is an extensible command line image viewer inspired by vim.

The software can display images on top of your terminal window by using ueberzug. The latter is able to do that by exploiting the properties of the X window your terminal emulator is currently attached to.

Note that ueberzug is no longer maintained. It was a tool which allowed to hack image support into terminal emulators if they fulfilled certain properties. It was not designed to be a competitor to projects which established a standard for images in terminals.

ucollage is free and open source software.
