OpenWebRX+ – improved version of OpenWebRX

OpenWebRX+ is an improved version of OpenWebRX, a multi-user software defined radio receiver that runs through a web interface.

It’s designed for operators who want to publish an online SDR receiver that people can access from a browser, and the project can be deployed via Debian packages, Docker images, Raspberry Pi SD card images, or a manual installation.

This is free and open source software.

Key Features

  • Supports a wide range of SDR hardware and can use multiple SDR devices simultaneously.
  • Includes decoders for AIS, SSTV, FAX, FLEX, POCSAG, HFDL, VDL2, ADSB, ACARS, ISM, RDS, SAM, SITOR-B, RTTY, and CW.
  • Provides DTMF, EEA, EIA, CCIR, and several ZVEI SELCALL decoders.
  • Offers background SSTV and FAX decoding with a browser for received images.
  • Includes built-in chat, audio recording, and bookmark-based scanning.
  • Shows maps for public WebSDRs, shortwave broadcasters, aircraft positions, and nearby amateur radio repeaters.
  • Lets administrators view active user connections and ban abusive users.
  • Supports HTTPS, configurable session timeouts, touchscreen panning and zooming, and improved CW tuning.
