Nibbler is a real-time chess analysis interface designed particularly for Leela Chess Zero. It runs a chess engine in the background and continually presents its assessment of the current position as the user explores a game or analysis line.
Its strength is the amount of information it exposes from Leela. Besides displaying the engine’s preferred moves, Nibbler can show detailed statistics for candidate moves and a graph showing changes in winning chances. Users can also direct the engine to concentrate on particular moves instead of analysing every candidate.
Nibbler works with conventional UCI engines such as Stockfish as well, although its richer displays are particularly useful with Leela Chess Zero. Games and positions can be loaded from standard formats and analysed interactively or as a complete game.
This is free and open source software.
