$ phoronix-test-suite benchmark unigine-valley
These Unigine Valley results flip the story from the CPU benchmarks. The MS-02 Ultra’s Core Ultra 9 285HX is very strong computationally, but its integrated graphics are modest here.
Overall, the MS-02 Ultra is a workstation CPU monster, but not a standout 3D graphics performer without adding a discrete GPU.
The MS-02 Ultra’s iGPU results don’t tell the full story. The system can accept a capable low-profile discrete GPU (such as an RTX 4060 LP, RTX A2000, or RTX 4000 SFF Ada), subject to power, connector, cooling, and clearance limits, transforming it from a modest integrated-graphics box into a much more capable compact workstation.
I included the i5-12400 system as a discrete-GPU reference point. It isn’t a direct comparison with the mini PCs’ integrated graphics, as that system uses a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, but it helps show the gap between the iGPUs and a discrete graphics card. The annotation is important: the i5-12400 result reflects the RTX 3060 Ti, not Intel UHD integrated graphics.
I also ran glmark2, an OpenGL 2.0 / OpenGL ES 2.0 benchmark, on the MS-02 Ultra. Here are the results.
