Device Monitoring
The Device Monitoring utility provides a live overview of the N5 Pro’s system load, memory use and temperatures.
The processor is reported as an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 370 with Radeon 890M. The 24 CPU gauges represent its 24 logical processors; the interface’s description of it as a “24 Core” processor is inaccurate because it has 12 physical cores and 24 threads.
The review unit was supplied with a single 16GB ADATA SO-DIMM. I replaced it with a matched pair of 16GB Crucial SO-DIMMs, enabling dual-channel memory operation.
Temperature readings are healthy: the CPU package is at 32°C, the two SATA drives are at 42°C and 40°C, and the SSD sensors range from 28.9°C to 31.9°C. Additional PCIe and thermal-zone sensors are displayed, although several have raw or unclear labels, indicating that the monitoring interface still needs refinement.
