Lidarr is a music collection manager for Usenet and BitTorrent users. It monitors artists, albums and configured release sources, helping users find music and maintain an organised local collection.
The application combines library management with automated downloading. Users can choose which artists and albums to monitor, define acceptable audio quality and connect Lidarr to supported indexers and download clients.
Lidarr is also designed to work with music already stored on a computer or server. It can scan an existing library, identify missing albums and manage new additions using configurable naming rules. For users maintaining sizeable collections, this reduces the amount of manual searching and file organisation required.
Its browser-based interface brings monitoring, search results, library activity and configuration into a single application.
