Fraqtive is a program for drawing Mandelbrot and Julia fractals.
It uses a very fast algorithm and generates high quality, smooth images.
This software is fully interactive, allowing for real-time mouse navigation and dynamic generation of the Julia fractal preview. OpenGL-rendered 3D view of the fractals is also supported.
Key Features
- Mandlebrot and Julia fractals:
- Normal.
- Conjugate.
- Absolute.
- Absolite Im.
- Very fast algorithms with built-in, highly optimized procedures for performing calculations.
- Generate images up to 30720 x 17280 pixels. In the 32-bit version the limit is 8000 x 8000 pixels. This makes it possible to generate very high quality images and movies
- Multi-Sampling – generate images using multiple samples per pixel (2×2, 4×4 or 8×8 samples). This greatly improves the quality of images, especially in the “noisy” areas.
- Generate a series of images with increasing zoom level and optional rotation.
- Real-time navigation.
- Rendering 3D scenes.
- Full screen mode.
- Save high quality anti-aliased images to PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP and PPM formats.
- Bookmarks.
- Keyboard navigation.
- Built in tutorial.
- Compatibility with Qt 5.
