EngPlayer is a graphical IPTV player and media center. It brings live television, video-on-demand services, television series, and locally stored media together in a single application.
The software supports IPTV providers using the Xtream Codes API and M3U playlists. It can display programme information, organize channels, and manage recordings, while also functioning as a player for video and audio files stored on the computer.
EngPlayer uses GStreamer for media playback and FFmpeg for recording. Its GTK4 interface is designed to make browsing channels, movies, television series, and personal media collections straightforward.
The application does not supply IPTV subscriptions or television channels. Users need to provide their own playlists or access details for compatible services.
This is free and open source software.
