Proxelar is a local traffic inspection and debugging proxy for developers working with HTTP, HTTPS and WebSocket applications. It allows users to capture, examine and manipulate network traffic between clients and upstream services.
The application is designed for investigating API behaviour, debugging communication problems and testing how software responds to modified requests or responses. It can operate as a forward proxy for configured clients or as a reverse proxy in front of an application server.
Proxelar provides several interfaces, including an interactive terminal application, a browser-based interface and a headless API. Its scripting capabilities also make it suitable for automating traffic modifications and reproducing particular network conditions.
This is free and open source software.
