Bing-r is a desktop IPTV and media application for Linux. It is designed for people who already have legitimate playlist sources and want a native application for organising, browsing and playing live television and other streamed media.
The program imports M3U and M3U8 playlists from local files or remote URLs and builds a local media library from their contents. Channels can then be browsed and filtered instead of forcing users to work directly with large playlist files. Bing-r does not provide television channels, subscriptions or copyrighted media itself.
This is free and open source software.
