Calibre – e-book Management Software

calibre is a comprehensive application for managing, reading, editing and converting collections of electronic books.

Its library management system treats each title as a logical book which can contain several formats. Books can be organised using metadata, tags, series, ratings, custom columns and virtual libraries, with tools for downloading covers and metadata from online sources.

calibre also includes an e-book viewer, editor, format converter and Content server. It can communicate with many dedicated e-book readers and mobile devices, download news from websites and feeds, and provide remote access to a library through a web browser.

This is free and open source software.
