Coronet is a logic puzzle game in which players place crowns on a grid divided into coloured regions. The objective is to position exactly one crown in each row, each column and each coloured region, without allowing any two crowns to touch.
The game requires logical deduction rather than speed or quick reactions. Each placement affects the available positions elsewhere on the board, so players must consider several restrictions simultaneously to arrive at a valid solution.
Coronet provides simple graphical controls for placing crowns and marking squares that cannot contain one. These markings help players keep track of their deductions as the puzzle progresses. Incorrect placements are highlighted, making it easier to identify conflicts with the rules.
