Kodi is a media centre designed primarily for use with televisions and remote controls. It brings video, music, live television, games, pictures and other media together in a ten-foot interface.
Local and network media can be organised into rich libraries containing artwork, plot information, cast details and other metadata. Kodi supports a broad range of audio and video formats and can play media from local storage, optical discs, NAS devices and network shares.
Its functionality can be extended through add-ons covering streaming services, metadata providers, PVR clients, skins, visualisations and other features.
