I’m using s-tui to stress the CPU. It provides a convenient frontend to the stress utility.

The MS-R1 stays remarkably cool even with full CPU load.
The power saver, balanced and performance governors didn’t affect power consumption with the MS-R1 with the exception of the performance mode where the fan runs at full speed drawing slightly higher power usage.

The MS-R1 uses slightly more watts than the Pi 6 Plus even though both have the same CPU. What’s impressive about the MS-R1 is that it’s power consumption is lower than the Intel 10th generation machine even though it’s not that far away in terms of CPU performance.
