DeSmuME is a Nintendo DS emulator that aims to be portable. It can be run from the command line directly or as a graphical program.
DeSmuME can boot homebrew and games, some of which are playable.
DeSmuME focuses more on compatibility and features than on speed. It’s mostly CPU intensive and less GPU intensive. You’ll want the fastest CPU possible. It’s more hardware intensive than any other DS emulator.
The Nintendo DS is a handheld game console developed and manufactured by Nintendo, which was released in 2004. The hardware features a clamshell design, with two LCD screens,one of which is a touch sensitive screen. The Nintendo DS also features a microphone and supports wireless WiFi standards, allowing players to interact with each other.
