DataExplore – free Python based data plotting and analysis software

Last Updated on September 1, 2020

Summary

DataExplore is designed to help you produce attractive charts with the minimum of fuss and bother. It’s no replacement for the power and flexibility offered by RStudio, but it’s a competent program.

It seeks to offer fairly generic methods, so if you’re looking for very specific use cases you may be disappointed. If you need specific functionality, it’s best to implement it with a plugin.

The user interface is simple, consistent, fairly powerful, but clunky.
