If you’ve chosen Borg Backup as your preferred backup software but found it hard going mastering its scripting, give borgmatic a whirl. It’s a good time-saver although triggering automatic scheduling requires a fair bit of troubleshooting.
borgmatic retains a lot of the flexibility of Borg Backup unlike the GUI frontends Vorta and Pika Backup where customization is sacrificed for ease-of-use.
