aurutils is a collection of scripts to automate usage of the Arch User Repository, with different tasks such as package searching, update checks, or computing dependencies kept separate.
The chosen approach for managing packages is local pacman repositories, rather than foreign (installed by pacman -U) packages.
This is free and open source software.
- High-level commands:
- aur-build – build packages to a local repository.
- aur-depends – retrieve dependencies using aurweb.
- aur-fetch – fetch packages from a location.
- aur-graph – print package/dependency directed graph.
- aur-pkglist – print the AUR package list.
- aur-repo – manage local repositories.
- aur-search – search for AUR packages.
- aur-sync – download and build AUR packages automatically.
- Low-level commands:
- aur-chroot – build pacman packages with systemd-nspawn.
- aur-format – format AurJson output to text strings.
