Xiphos (formerly GnomeSword) is a Bible study tool for GNOME. It lets you read, search, add formatted notes to verses, bookmark passages, and reference commentary and lexicon modules.
The software aims to provide a simple and clean user interface whilst also providing a powerful tool allowing a personalized Bible study environment.
Xiphos uses modules and libraries provided by The SWORD Project.
Xiphos lets users work in original language study using the available Greek and Hebrew translations.
