SSHR is a terminal application for browsing and connecting to SSH hosts through a keyboard-driven interface. It provides a convenient alternative to remembering server addresses and typing connection commands whenever access to a remote machine is required.
The program can load host information from the user’s existing OpenSSH configuration. It also supports a separate TOML-based host file, allowing connections to be organised independently of the usual SSH configuration where appropriate.
SSHR includes an SSH connection interface and an SFTP mode for working with files on remote systems. Its presentation can be customised with different colour themes, while search and navigation controls help users find servers in larger host collections.
The application is particularly suited to developers and administrators who prefer to work entirely within a terminal rather than switch to a graphical SSH client.
