GeneoTree is a web-based genealogy application for displaying and exploring family history information. It uses PHP and a MySQL-compatible database to present genealogical records through a browser interface.
The application works with GEDCOM files exported from other genealogy programs. This makes it particularly suitable for researchers who maintain their family tree in a desktop application but want to publish the information on a website or make it available to relatives.
GeneoTree provides interactive family tree navigation, allowing visitors to move between individuals and examine their ancestral connections. It also includes tools for exploring geographical information and generating statistical reports from genealogical data.
