FramR is a Wayland screenshot and screen-recording utility with built-in annotation and upload facilities.
It can capture an entire screen, a monitor or a selected region, edit a screenshot before saving it, copy captures to the clipboard, and record video with configurable encoding. It also supports ShareX and iShare-compatible uploaders for sending captures directly to configured hosting services.
This is free and open source software.

- Choose MP4, Matroska or WebM containers.
- Upload screenshots with ShareX and iShare-compatible uploader configurations.
- Import uploader definitions from local files or URLs.
- Support framr:// deeplinks for one-click uploader configuration imports.
- Create, edit, list, inspect and delete uploaders through its configuration tools.
- Choose PNG, JPEG or WebP screenshot output and configure JPEG quality.
- Upload an existing file or data read from standard input.
- Work with wlroots/scenefx compositors including Hyprland, Sway and River.
- Support KDE Plasma on Wayland.
