Digger is a graphical DNS lookup and diagnostics application built with GTK and Libadwaita. It places common DNS investigation tasks behind a desktop interface while using established DNS tooling underneath, making detailed lookups more approachable without reducing the amount of information available to an experienced administrator.
The application goes beyond displaying record answers. It can compare resolver behaviour, inspect DNSSEC, test propagation and retain previous work for later reference. Those capabilities make it useful when an ordinary lookup has identified a problem but more context is needed to determine whether the issue lies with a resolver, DNSSEC configuration or propagation.
This is free and open source software.
