ClamTk is a frontend for ClamAV (Clam Antivirus).
It is intended to be an easy to use, light-weight, on-demand scanner for Linux systems. ClamTk was originally written using the Tk widget toolkit, for which it is named, but it was later re-written in Perl, using the GTK toolkit.
It is free and open source software.
Key Features
- Provides both on-demand and scheduled scanning.
- Scanning of single files or directories. It can be configured for recursive scans, scanning all sub-directories, for whitelists, to scan for potentially unwanted applications (PUAs), to exclude hidden files, or large files.
- History selection – view the results of previous scans and quarantined files.
- Integration with Thunar, Nemo, Files and Dolphin file managers.
- Can be from the command-line in addition to the graphical user interface.
