BlueGriffon – web and EPUB editor

BlueGriffon is a WYSIWYG content editor for the World Wide Web. Powered by Gecko, the rendering engine of Firefox, it is a modern and robust solution to edit web pages in conformance to the latest web standards.

Because Gecko lives inside BlueGriffon, the document you edit will look exactly the same in Firefox.

Advanced users can always use the Source View to hard-code their page.

Key Features

  • Create and edit all HTML 4, XHTML 1 and HTML 5 (both HTML and XML serializations) documents.
  • Directly embed HTML 5 audio or video elements.
  • Full support for the HTML 5 forms with dialogs for all the elements currently defined by the HTML 5 specification.
  • Tables are easily resizable using the vertical and horizontal rulers in the window.
  • Excellent CSS support with its own CSS parser, JSCSSP.
  • Supports CSS 2.1 and all parts of CSS 3 already implemented by Gecko.
  • SVG Edit is included – a popular XUL-based editor for SVG.
  • Create good-looking math formulas just entering ASCII or LaTeX-style formulas
  • Internationalization support: English, Dutch, Finnish, French, Czech, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Simplified Chinese, Serbian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, and Traditional Chinese.
